  1. Day 1 Arrival day (1,300m/4,264 ft)

    Arrival day (1,300m/4,264 ft) Upon arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuwan International Airport, we will greet you and assist you to the Hotel. We can meet later on that day or the next day (as per your convenient) to take you to our head office to brief you on your upcoming ManasluTrek with us. At that time we will introduce you to your trekking guide and Sherpa. If your flight arrives on time, we will take you to one of the most popular local restaurants with delicious Nepalese food, cultural music and ethnic dance. This will give you a glimpse into the different ethnic groups of the country. If you arrive late in the evening we can do this the next day.

  2. Day 2 Kathmandu Valley sightseeing and trek preparation (1,300m/4,264 ft)

    Kathmandu Valley sightseeing and trek preparation (1,300m/4,264 ft) After breakfast, you will begin a city tour of Kathmandu where you will see the main attractions of the valley. On this tour you will visit the Boudhnath Stupa, Pashupatinath temple, Swyambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), and Kathmandu Durbar Square (the old palace). After finishing the city tour, we will meet again to check your clothing and trekking equipment (sleeping bag, down jacket and trekking boots). This evening will be spent in Kathmandu.

  3. Day 3 Drive from Kathmandu to Arughat (570m/1,870ft)

    Drive from Kathmandu to Arughat (570m/1,870ft) After breakfast at the hotel, you will board a local bus departing for Arughat in morning. This is an interesting drive along the scenic Highway. The bus makes two stops, once for breakfast and once for lunch. After a seven hour drive you will arrive in Arughat. After a brief rest at the lodge at Arughat, you can walk around the town and explore the surrounding areas. Stay overnight at lodge.

  4. Day 4 Trek to Soti Khola(730m/2,395ft)

    Trek to Soti Khola(730m/2,395ft) After hot breakfast at the lodge the stone paved trail leads towards north of the valley which is along the bank of the river. There are rice farm on the way and also small forest where you can see monkeys. You will enjoy your walk through Magar and Gurung village along the way and also few water falls pass through. Stay overnight at Soti Khola.

  5. Day 5 Trek to Machha Khola (930m/3,051ft)

    Trek to Machha Khola (930m/3,051ft) Today, your day starts few up and downs from Soti Khola towards north of the valley. There are few farm terraces along the way and also passing through the Sal forest. After short sandy walk on the bank of the river, the rocky trail leads few up and downs to Machha khola for overnight.

  6. Day 6 Trek to Jagat (1,410m/4,625ft)

    Trek to Jagat (1,410m/4,625ft) After breakfast the narrow trail leads few up and downs to the bank of the river and walk through the gravel bar along the bank of the Budi Gandaki River to get to the village. After that, trail leads few up and down to Jagat for overnight.

  7. Day 7 Trek to Deng (1,800m/5,905ft)

    Trek to Deng (1,800m/5,905ft) At the beginning of the day starts uphill to the rocky ridge to Salleri and descend to Setibas. The valley takes you to the suspension bridge and climb up to Philim, which is big Gurung village. After crossing the Budhi Gandaki the trail leads the west bank for a while, then cross to the east bank of the river to cross Deng Khola and continue walk to Deng village for overnight.

  8. Day 8 Trek to Ghap (2,160m/7,086ft)

    Trek to Ghap (2,160m/7,086ft) We cross the Budhi Gandaki after short walk from Deng and follow the north bank and then climb to Rana at 1980m. Then head west up the Budhi Gandaki valley. Cossing various streams and rivers we drop into the Sringi Valley.After few ups and downs in forests, we pass mani walls and then turn to a corner to get to Ghap for overnight.

  9. Day 9 Trek to Lho (4,295m/14,091ft)

    Trek to Lho (4,295m/14,091ft) After breakfast the trail leads through the river upstream and dense forest. After crossing the river at an impressive spot where it thunders down a narrow gorge, the forest becomes less dense and the trail is fine again. The pleasant walk continues to get to Namru village. On the way you can see beautiful peak Himal Chuli. After that the trail leads continue ascends where many chortens and many barley terraces gives you perfect walk of the day. You will encounter an excellent view of Ganesh himal and finally reach to Lho for overnight.

  10. Day 10 Trek to Samagaon (3,530m/11,581ft)

    Trek to Samagaon (3,530m/11,581ft) The trail leads through the shady forest which is an excellent walk where you will enjoy the natural beauty of the valley including snow Peak Mountains and peaks. A short climb to get to Shyala village and pass a large chorten we look down into a little deep where two rows of houses form the main part of Sama can be seen. At the far end of the village, overlooking the valley stands the well-known monastery of Sama. Stay overnight at Samagaon

  11. Day 11 Acclimatize day

    Acclimatize day Today is acclimatize day which does not mean you stay at the guest house. You will be walking around the village and visit monastery which is Buddhist monastery where you can visit. You can hike up to the ridge for the views of the mountains and the village. Stay overnight at Samagaon.

  12. Day 12 Trek to Samdo (3,690m/12,106ft)

    Trek to Samdo (3,690m/12,106ft) After breakfast the trail drops down to the Budhi Gandaki River to cross the side stream. The trail leads towards north and follow in to a bridge over a side. The Larkya la Trail passes several mani walls as the valley begins to wider. It is an easy walk through the juniper and birch forests of Kermo Kharka. Then cross the Budhi Gandaki on a wooden bridge and climb steeply onto a promontory between two forks of the river. From a stone arch we can see a large white kani which we do have to cross to get Samdo for overnight.

  13. Day 13 Trek to Larkya Rest House (4,470m/14,665ft)

    Trek to Larkya Rest House (4,470m/14,665ft) After Samdo the trail continue walk down to the edge to cross the wooden bridge over Budi Gandaki then uphillto the stream to cross. After short walk through the valley the trail leads up to the Larkya Phedi. It is also called Dharmasala because there is a huge stone a kind of Shelter. Evening walk around the hill to get acclimatize and overnight at Larkya rest house.

  14. Day 14 Trek to Bimtang (3,720m/12,204ft)

    Trek to Bimtang (3,720m/12,204ft) After a short climb, we reach to the North side of the Larkya Glacier. There one can enjoy the views of Cho Danda and then of Larkya Peak. Finally, we walk across the moraines of the glacier and a gradual ascent which becomes steeper only in the last section to get to the pass. From the top of the pass views are outstanding including Himlung Himal, Cheo Himal, Kangguru and the huge Annapurna II. Today is big day comparatively and tiring day. Finally stop at Bimtang for overnight.

  15. Day 15 Trek to Dharapani (1,860m/6,102ft)

    Trek to Dharapani (1,860m/6,102ft) After breakfast the trail descends into a rhododendron forest towards narrow valley until we reach the highest cultivated land in this valley at Karche, 2785 meters. On the way one can enjoy the view of Manaslu, Annapurnas and many more mountains. From here we cross a slide, then go across fields before making a steep climb over a ridge. Then after the trail continue through the fields, over a clear stream, passing through the houses and fields interspersed with rhododendron and oak forests to Tilje. The trail continues for the day to Dharapani for overnight.

  16. Day 16 Trek to Bahundanda (1,310m/4,297ft)

    Trek to Bahundanda (1,310m/4,297ft) The trail drops down to the river to cross the bridge and flows the rocky trail towards Tal. After that easy downhill to Chanje and continue walk along the river to Ghermu phant. On the way n can enjoy the views of waterfall and Rocky Mountains. After Ghermu the trail leads up gently up to the bottom of Bahundanda and steep up to the village of Bahundanda for overnight.

  17. Day 17 Trek to Besisahar (7, 60m/2,493ft)

    Trek to Besisahar (7, 60m/2,493ft) After breakfast the trail drops down to the valley to cross the bridge and continue walk along the bank of the river to Nagdi village. Then the trail leads few up and downs to Khudi and continue walk to Besisahar for overnight.

  18. Day 18 Drive to Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264 ft)

    Drive to Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264 ft) At 7:00 in the morning, we’ll drive to Kathmandu along thelittle road to Dumre and after that through thePrithivi highway.We will arrive in Kathmandu in the afternoon. That night we will host a farewell dinner at a Nepalese restaurant. Spend the night in Kathmandu.

  19. Day 19 Departure day

    Departure day Today is the last day of your trip with us. If you would like to extend your holiday, we will help you. Otherwise, we will assist you to the airport for your departing flight. If your flight is late in the evening, you can do some shopping or manage your photos from the trip.
